About the Sunshine Door - Cross Section & Framing
The Sunshine Door consists of panels made with Lexan Thermoclear polycarbonate sheet product encased in anodized aluminium with rubber thermal seals on top and bottom of each panel. Available in three-wall construction, LEXAN Thermoclear polycarbonate sheet offers thermal insulation, excellent impact resistance, outstanding light transmission and fire resistance.
Cross Section
The diagram below details the thermal properties as well as the rubber weather seals. Sophisticated multi-wall construction creates an insulating air space within the internal channels, resulting in excellent energy-efficiency and significant reductions in heating costs.
